Biography

Stefanie works with children, adolescents, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and the challenges of growing up. She creates a warm, supportive space where young people can feel heard, ask difficult questions, and become more comfortable being themselves.

Her approach begins with understanding each client’s experiences, strengths, and goals. Through a trusting therapeutic relationship, Stefanie helps clients make sense of their emotions, strengthen relationships, and develop practical tools for everyday life. She works collaboratively with clients and families to build confidence and support meaningful change at a pace that feels manageable.

Stefanie earned her Master of Social Work from The Catholic University of America and completed her graduate-level clinical training at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. She brings experience providing individual therapy and mental health counseling in outpatient and school-based settings. Her work is trauma-informed and draws on evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s needs.
